Yes. Homosexuality is unnatural

Yesterday, my friend asked me to write something about recent HC's judgment legalizing homosexuality. I am not sure if he was really keen to know my views on this. The honorable court (I cannot question the ability of those learned judges) has adjudged to repeal section 377 of the IPC that decriminalize private consensual sex between adults of the same sex. It is the biggest victory yet for gays’ rights and a major milestone in the country's social evolution. Finally, India has become the 127th country to legalize homosexuality.

It’s not as if this homosexuality is new to our society. I know many homosexuals and bisexuals both in real life including some of the high profiles. I do believe it’s your personal choice if you want to sleep with a woman, man or any other animals. I have absolutely no problem with homosexuality, lesbianism or bestiality (when you have sex with animals other than the humans). But this becomes a problem for me when my spouse turns to lesbianism or bestiality. Albeit I would not harbor bad feelings for my friends no matter what their sexual preferences are.

However, if I go into depth and analyze the psyches behind having sex with same gender or with animals, I feel it is not natural. No doubt about it. It is akin to having sex with the children. If you criticize child abuse and think extra marital affairs is bad then why not homosexuality? Are you trying to be liberal? Look, there are so many weird people in this world who justify things whatever that suit them. There are liberals who have sex with their own children. You will lambaste them but they believe they are doing the right thing.

It’s interesting to note that sexual intercourse for most animals other than humans occurs at the point of estrus i.e. the most fertile period of time in the female's reproductive cycle. Only we do it round the clock.
